to Alburgh Village Hall
The village of Alburgh is situated in South Norfolk, off the A143 Between Diss and Beccles, just north of Harleston.
In view of the UK government’s latest advice that everyone in the UK should avoid “non-essential” travel and social contact with others to curb coronavirus, Alburgh Village Hall has reluctantly decided to suspend all events at the hall for the foreseeable future. This decision has not been taken lightly, but like other similar venues locally we decided that it was best course of action to reduce the impact of COVID-19 on anyone that is at risk and the nation’s attempts to delay the spread of the virus. We understand that this will be a disappointment and an inconvenience for those of you who have already booked or have events arranged at the Hall but the health and safety of our customers, volunteers and staff is the most important thing and we believe this is the correct decision.
We look forward to welcoming customers and visitors back to the Hall before too long and thank you for your understanding, patience and support over this difficult period.
The impact of Coronavirus is a real and serious threat to Alburgh Village Hall which as a charity receives no external funding.
If you are in a position to support us – and we understand not everyone can – by making a donation, it would be greatly appreciated.
We feel confident that with the support from you all, we will continue to serve the community for many years to come.
